गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब की हजूरी में वोट मांगने पर रोक
चंडीगढ़ से इन्द्रप्रीत सिंह. श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब की हजूरी में राजनीतिक पार्टियां वोट नहीं मांग सकतीं। फतेहगढ़ साहिब जोड़ मेले मंे अकाली दल के श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब की हाजिरी में वोट मांगे जाने की शिकायत मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी कुसुमजीत सिद्धू ने चुनाव आयोग को भेज दी है। साथ ही उन्होंने पंजाब सरकार से इस संबंधी रिपोर्ट भी मांगी है।
कुसुमजीत ने बताया कि राजनीतिक रैलियों में श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब का प्रकाशन नहीं किया जा सकता। साथ ही यदि जोड़ मेले जैसे धार्मिक समारोहों की कांफ्रेंसों में श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब का प्रकाश किया गया है तो वहां केवल धार्मिक भाषण ही किए जाएं ,वोट न मांगे जाएं। काबिले गौर है कि मकर संक्रांति के अवसर पर मुक्तसर में भी धार्मिक कांफ्रेंसों का राजनीतिक पार्टियों द्वारा किया जाना है।
पुलिस नहीं कर सकती जांच
एक लाख से ज्यादा कैश साथ ले जाने की जांच पुलिस नहीं कर सकती। मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी ने बताया कि जांच के लिए रेवेन्यू अधिकारियों, मेजिस्ट्रेट आदि की टीमें गठित की गई हैं। पुलिस केवल उनकी मदद के लिए है। उन्होंने बताया कि अभी तक पांच करोड़ रुपए पकड़े गए हैं जबकि सबसे ज्यादा खन्ना में 1.2 करोड़ पकड़ा गया है।
बठिंडा मंे मुख्यमंत्री प्रकाश सिंह बादल के फोटो लगे राशन कार्ड बांटने पर मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी ने रोक लगा दी है। चुनाव अधिकारी ने कहा, किसी भी राशन कार्ड पर मुख्यमंत्री का फोटो नहीं होगा। इसके अलावा बसों से भी मुख्यमंत्री के फोटो हटाने को कहा गया है। लेकिन साथ ही साफ किया गया है कि जो फोटो पेड विज्ञापन में लगी है वह नहीं हटाई जाएगी,बल्कि उसे खर्च में डाला जाएगा। बारहवीं कक्षा की लड़कियों को बांटे गए साइकिलों पर मुख्यमंत्री की फोटो हटाने संबंधी कुसुमजीत सिद्धू ने कहा, जो साइकिल लड़की को दी गई उस पर लगाना या हटाना उसकी मर्जी है
शिकायतों का लगा अंबार
चुनाव विभाग को इस समय तक 129 मिल चुकी हैं। पिछले 24 घंटों मंे ही 77 शिकायतें प्राप्त हुईं। चमकौर में साहिब में सिलाई मशीनें और मोहाली जिले में एन के शर्मा द्वारा पैसे बांटने की शिकायतें भी आयोग को प्राप्त हुई हैं। सिलाई मशीने कब्जे मंे ले ली गई हैं। करतारपुर में अकाली प्रत्याशी अविनाश चंद्र के खिलाफ नींव पत्थर रखने की शिकायत मिली है।
पांच जिला एसएसपी बदलो
फाजिल्का, फिरोजपुर, लुधियाना, मोहाली और बठिंडा के जिला पुलिस प्रमुखांे को बदलने की शिकायतें चुनाव आयोग को प्राप्त हुई हैं। मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी कुसुमजीत सिद्धू ने बताया कि इन शिकायतों को इन पांच जिलों के पुलिस प्रमुखांे और बठिंडा के आईजी के खिलाफ आई शिकायतों को प्रमुख गृह सचिव को भेज दिया गया है। जांच के बाद चुनाव आयोग की ओर से कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इसके अलावा कृषि मंत्री सुच्च सिंह लंगाह द्वारा पूरे जिले में अपने चहेते एस.एच.ओ और डीएसपी को लगाने संबंधी शिकायत भी आयोग को प्राप्त हुई है और कहा है कि इन सभी को बदला जाए।

For ages, Sikhs have prayed for the blessed “darshan” and “ishnaan” of Sri Darbar Sahib and it’s Amrit Sarovar. Countless Sikhs have sacrificed their lives to uphold the sanctity of this holy of holies. During the 1980’s one of the key demands of the Panth during the ‘Dharam Yudh Morcha’ was the relay of sacred Gurbani via radio to Sikhs far and wide.

In the above video, Dhunda shamelessly insults Gurbani and alleges that verses of compositions recited at Sri Darbar Sahib would bring prostitutes and harlots to shame. Another words, Dhunda alleges, that the Gurbani being recited at Sri Dabar Sahib is of such low grade that it is even beneath the level of a prostitute.
It is utterly hypocritical to see an individual who on one hand loathes our sacred Gurbani to such a demeaning level now in desperation to explain his position on Sri Jaap Sahib. He has never felt the need to clarify his stance on Sri Jaap Sahib before, in fact he has been often cited as a vociferous critic of this baani.
After all, Sri Jaap Sahib is the first compositions of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in sacred scripture of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib – the very granth that has become the prime target of the Kala-Afghana/quasi-Missionary lobby that Dhunda is intimately intertwined with. He has never muzzled or condemned his close associates who openly condemn Sri Jaap Sahib on a daily basis. Why is Dhunda all of a sudden in a frantic dizzy to show his love for Jaap Sahib now?

Yet, the so-called Professor Inder Ghagaa of this same missionary institution went on Indian Nation television and alleged that Sri Jaap Sahib was a product of Hindu Granths such as Markande Puran, Shiv Puran, and “others”.
The principle of ‘Gurmat Gian Missionary College’ (Ludhaina), “Principle Gurbachan Singh Thailand”, another vitriolic quasi-missionary parcharic, while promoting his college’s missionary accomplishments, stated that his institution works closely Singh Sabha Canada and others to spread their message to the masses.

Fearing further backlash, Sarbjit Dhunda has tried to distance himself from Singh Sabha Canada and reportedly told his acquaintances in Calgary that does not agree with what Jeonwala did in.
Sarbjit Dhunda’s views on Kirtan recitation at Sri Darbar Sahib are clear proof that he is no different that Jeonwala, Ghagga, Thailand, and the dozens of other heretics are hell-bent on promoting their blasphemous ideology on Panthic stages.
Sarbjit Dhunda should not be allowed to utilize any Panthic platform. He needs to seek apology from the Sikh Panth in regards to his offensive remarks on Kirtan recitation at Sri Darbar Sahib and if he truly believes in the Sikh Rahit Maryada and Nitnem, then he must openly condemn and dissociate himself from Gurmat Gian Missionary College’ (Ludhaina), Singh Sabha Canada, and all the other heretics associated with the Kala-Afghana/Missionary lobby.

Amritsar Sahib (KP) - Despite worldwide criticism from Panthic organizations and institutions, the shameless puppet Jathedars honored the patit (apostate) Chief Minister with the first ever “Panth Rattan Fakhar-e-Quam” (Jewel and Pride of the Sikh Panth) title during politically orchestrated rally outside the Sri Akal Takht Sahib courtyard.
The award ceremony was conducted by Gurbachan Singh (Sri Akal Takht Jathedar), Tarlochan Singh (Takht Kesgarh Sahib Jathedar), Jaswinder Singh (Heath Granthi Sri Darbar Sahib), and Iqbal Singh (Takht Patna Sahib, Jathedar) from the balcony of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Jathedar, Bhai Balwant Singh Nandgarh was conspicuously absent from the function. The reasons for Giani Balwant Singh absence are not known.
The bestowing of the dubious award by the puppet Jathedars, illustrates the complete leverage and political control by Akali Dal Badal over even the highest institution of the Sikh Panth - Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the Jathedars. Panthic observers have stated that this episode by the puppet Jathedars has overshadowed the act of Sarbrah Aroor Singh who under the directions of the British-controlled Punjab Government denigrated his noble position by endowing General Dyer, the villain of Jallianwala Bagh massacre, with a 'siropa' at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

The title “Panth Rattan Fakhar-e-Quam” is first such title given to any individual. In the past the title "Pant Rattan" has been bestowed posthumously by the Panth to highly respected Sikhs such as Mahan Kavi Santokh Singh, venerable Baba Kharak Singh, Sirdar Kapur Singh, and others.
Interestingly, all past recipients of the “Panth Rattan” award were all practicing Amritdhari Sikhs who were widely respected in the Panth for their contributions to the Sikh Nation. On the other hand, Badal, an apostate (patit), and is loathed by Panthic organizations for his anti-Sikh activities for the last four decades, has been conferred the grander designation “Panth Rattan Fakhar-e-Quam.”
There is already a call for social boycott and rejection of these puppet Jathedars, their Akali masters, and the corrupt dera based charlatan babas who have fleeced the Sikh nation for too long. Some Sikh organizations worldwide are already demanding the resignation of those Jathedars Granthis who partook in this shameful act and denigrated the Sacred Immortal Takht of Sri Hargobind Sahib Ji.
The repercussions and fall-out should not be under-estimated, there is a strong opposition brewing against cronyism and the political corruption that has infected the highest of the Sikh institutions.

A Game for Your Nokia Smartphone
I’ve got rhythm – or at least I thought I did. After playing Drums Challenge, a game for Nokia advanced Symbian touchscreen devices, I’m beginning to wonder. Challenge, indeed; I found this game fun, but very difficult.
The basic concept is simple enough. Drums Challenge challenges you to a kind of drumming duel. First, the game plays a drum pattern. Then, you try to match it — accurately and in perfect time. Do it well, and you win. Do it poorly, and you’re out on a rim shot.
To play, Drums Challenge displays a modern drum set – snare, bass, cymbals, high-hat, and tom-tom. With music playing in the background, you hear and see a pattern played on the drums. Then, tapping the screen of your Nokia device, you attempt to reproduce the drum pattern on the various drums and cymbals.
The game monitors your screen taps and awards points based on how closely you reproduce the pattern. You also have a battery indicator that loses power each time you miss a drum stroke. Get all the way through a sequence with a charge still in your battery, and you win the challenge. But if the battery indicator is drained before the end of the sequence, you lose.
Win a challenge, and your score is saved, and you are given access to a new, more difficult level to play.
Sounds simple, right? Well, the first level, which involves drumming over a blues, is pretty easy
The screen controls monitor your play. In the screenshot below, the red-and-blue slider at the top indicates both whose turn it is (yours or the game’s) and how far along you are in the turn. It also gives you a 3-2-1 countdown when your turn is about to begin. Below, you can see that it is almost my turn, as the countdown has reached the 2:
Also note the star-like triangles on the high-hat (the cymbal on the left with the foot pedal). That is how Drums Challenge visually represents a drum being struck.
The 290 in the upper left-hand corner is my current score at the moment I took the screenshot. The battery indicator toward the bottom of the screen shows my progress. As I mentioned, each time you miss a drum shot, the battery loses a bit of its charge.
As a further refinement, scoring is based on the quality of your drumming – how closely you match the pattern and timing of the challenge. When the game ends, you are given your total score, plus a breakdown by Perfect, Awesome and merely Nice:

Win the easy blues challenge, and you are given access to the next level: heavy metal. That one I found somewhat harder, but I did manage to win on my second try. However, I met my match with the game’s third level: reggae.
It combines odd upbeats, complicated patterns, and other forms of fancy drumming, and it also adds a new, larger and more complicated drum set. How did I do? Well, the screenshot below tells the sad story:

Drums Challenge offers several other challenges of increasing difficulty. These include jazz, funk, punk, and Latin, according to publisher Music Games Studio. But I will have to take their word for it. I could not win the reggae challenge, so was unable to open new, higher-level challenges.
To truly appreciate Drums Challenge, it helps to watch this game in action. You will see the game being played on a Nokia N8, the same device I used for this review:
Finally, the Qt-based Drums Challenge app is really large at more than 88 MB. Even the stripped-down free version, Drums Challenge Lite, is quite large at over 21 MB. So be sure to leave yourself ample time for downloading and installing this app – and as you will see, Ovi Store will prompt you to download the game using a WLAN. Also, due to its size, this install file should be stored in your device’s mass — not phone — memory.

Speedball 2 Evolution is run like a tournament. By making your way through each quarter- final, semi-final, and final, the team of your choice will be one step closer to having a great career!
Choose between tilting your phone or using a touch D-pad, and you are ready to guide your Speedball team to stardom and possibly even greatness. I opted for the D-pad myself because I tend to over extend everything if I’m tilting the device.
If you’re looking for a simple game Speedball 2 Evolution may not be the game for you. There is a whole lot of things to do that can bank your team points. Beware, it may be overwhelming if you are a first timer to Speedball like I was.
Points are accumulated by throwing the ball into the respective goals, throwing the ball at fivestars on the opposing team’s wall, or throwing the ball at three little knobs that lie in a line down the center of the Speedball field.
The goals will gather you ten points, whereas the knobs in the middle of field only gain you two, so definitely don’t get too caught up with gaining the small points. If, however, your stars get hit by the opposing team you can throw the ball at your own stars to take away points from the other team.
Whichever character of yours has the ball will be the one that you control. Run like mad, by tilting or the D-pad, while trying to avoid the opposing team’s tackles. Tap the screen to throw the ball into the goal, at another team member, as well as anything else previously mentioned to gain your points.
But be aware that the ball will only go in the direction you are facing. Hold down on the screen for a few seconds and the ball will get tossed up into the air.
If you are without the speedball the character that is closest to the opposing teammate holding the ball will be in your control. Tackle by tapping the screen or hold down on the screen for a few seconds for a harder tackle in order to take possession of the ball. And defend your goal using your goalie anytime the ball comes near.
If you like quick moving sports games then this game is definitely for you. Guide your helmeted and padded team to the championship they deserve.
